CONFERENCE "GREAT TRUTHS TO BREAK THE SILENCE"

A few days have passed, and our hearts are still full after our “Great Truths to Break the Silence” conference.
Twenty years of work have taught us that we have made important progress, but also that there is still a long way to go. That is why we needed to come together, look each other in the eye, and speak from a place of truth: about what concerns us, what hurts, and what still needs to change.
We gathered with professionals, families, and friends who, like us, deeply believe that children and adolescents deserve to be heard, respected, and protected.
Violeta Porta, Mariantònia Salas, Alejandro Villena, Agustí Bonifacio, Yonathan Blanco, Neus Marí, Israel Berenguer, Anna Pla, and the RANA team shared fears, experiences, barriers, and also the strength that moves us forward every single day.
The outcome could not be more positive: we dared to put words to what is sometimes hard to say out loud. From that place of commitment, we came together to draw new lines of work and look toward the future with hope. A future that calls for courage, perseverance, and a great deal of love. Because children and adolescents should not only grow up healthy and safe—they should grow up feeling loved, heard, and free from any form of abuse.
And toward that goal, we will continue moving forward, as we always have: with truth, with unity, and with our hearts leading the way.
