THE DREAMS
FUNDACIÓN RANA
We all have dreams, hopes, and curiosities…
Preventing child and adolescent sexual abuse has been RANA’s mission since 2005. Promoting the well-being of children and adolescents means putting into practice actions that support a healthy and well-rounded development, helping them to grow in a way that is balanced, positive and harmonious across all areas of life.
As a society, little by little, we are building an environment that makes this dream more achievable. Sexual abuse during childhood and adolescence is a reality that deeply affects many lives, and eradicating it, is a dream we must work on together to make come true.
That is why RANA gives a leading role to Nil, a child who dreams of discovering the world, learning new things, and exploring his surroundings alongside Mango, his favorite teddy bear.
Nil’s dream is a metaphor for what RANA hopes to achieve: weaving supportive networks among families, professionals, children, and young people—a community where children grow and develop accompanied by families who are aware of this issue and equipped with the tools and strategies they need in their educational role.
Tropicalia Island creates an opportunity to talk about the body, feelings and emotions, boundaries, the importance of asking for help, what trust means, secrets, belonging, connection… and many other important topics.
Shall we dream together?
