II EDITION OF THE RAFA NADAL FOUNDATION AWARDS

In the second Edition of the Rafa Nadal Foundation Awards, Fundación RANA has been distinguished in the Education category for the program “Building a childhood and adolescence free of sexual abuse”, based on RANA’s prevention programs for minors between 5 and 16 years.
This award is a recognition for the tireless work of our Prevention Team which day after day travels to educational centers throughout the islands, conveying the importance of prevention in the fight against sexual abuse in children and adolescents.
The ceremony, held on March 20 at the Museum Es Baluard, was attended by Rafael Nadal, the President of his Foundation, Ana María Parera and the Foundation’s Director, Maria Francisca Perelló, among other personalities. Collecting the award on behalf of the RANA Foundation was our Director, Pilar Sevilla and our President and Founder, Elizabeth Homberg, whose speech focused on raising awareness about the problem of Child Sexual Abuse and the urgency of expanding our programs so that every child has the opportunity to learn to protect themselves from abuse.
